Pros

Nice co workers, free movies, some locations are more laid back with employees as far as enforcing some of the rules.

Cons

Under pays floor staff and mangers. Over payed GMs. Corporate puts way to much pressure on its theaters. Floor staff and mangers do all the work and the GMs make huge bonuses for meeting theater goals on top of their pay which hovers around $60,000 a year. Mean while hours are cut to the point where the staff is overwhelmed and your pay check is only about $180 Evey 2 weeks and that's living in a state with a $8.40 min wage. There are no pay raises for seniority or any thing else.

Pros

The initial role offers good experience in sales and customer service, but the benefits are overshadowed by internal management failures.

Cons

The primary issue lies in the disconnect between local management and corporate HR, specifically regarding off-boarding and payroll accuracy. I submitted a formal two-week notice which was reportedly never filed by my manager. This resulted in an "ineligible for rehire" status despite my following all proper protocols. Furthermore, communication from Corporate is inconsistent and contradictory. I was told both that my notice was received but my two weeks were incomplete, and then later told that no notice was submitted at all. Even with physical proof of attendance (after a manager failed to adjust a manual clock-in as promised) and proof of the submitted notice, Corporate refused to correct the record.
