Great starter job, but nothing you can truly rely on for much more than that. - Floor Staff Regal Employee Review

Pros

You'll make lasting connections with the staff, and most everyone feels a part of a team environment. They are pretty good with working with your schedule. Your customer service skills will greatly improve and you get into movies for free.

Cons

The managers really make or break your experience. The pay is not that great, but it is to be expected for how easy the job is. Also it's very clear that corporate runs the show, and they don't provide any benefits for their floor staff. The keep cutting back hours; it's a fine second or highschool/college job, but not anything someone could realistically rely on as a sole income, and corporate likes to keep it that way.

Pros

It was a fun job for a part-time role when it's one of your first jobs. Got to watch movies during breaks, coworkers were chill, free popcorn and tickets was also a bonus.

Cons

Dealing with trash, rude customers, and rush hours were rough but were all part of what you'd expect in customer service. Hours are a bit late for closing given that its a movie theater.

Pros

The initial role offers good experience in sales and customer service, but the benefits are overshadowed by internal management failures.

Cons

The primary issue lies in the disconnect between local management and corporate HR, specifically regarding off-boarding and payroll accuracy. I submitted a formal two-week notice which was reportedly never filed by my manager. This resulted in an "ineligible for rehire" status despite my following all proper protocols. Furthermore, communication from Corporate is inconsistent and contradictory. I was told both that my notice was received but my two weeks were incomplete, and then later told that no notice was submitted at all. Even with physical proof of attendance (after a manager failed to adjust a manual clock-in as promised) and proof of the submitted notice, Corporate refused to correct the record.
