Pros

Free tickets, discounts on concessions, friendly co-workers, time passes quickly, variations on what you do depending on whether you're working concessions or ushering or standing door, lots of opportunities to interact with customers, some managers were really fun and nice

Cons

Difficult to make a mistake or admit you don't know something because everything is so tightly run, some of the managers were less than friendly, closing the theater is a detailed, tedious, and late-night process

Pros

The initial role offers good experience in sales and customer service, but the benefits are overshadowed by internal management failures.

Cons

The primary issue lies in the disconnect between local management and corporate HR, specifically regarding off-boarding and payroll accuracy. I submitted a formal two-week notice which was reportedly never filed by my manager. This resulted in an "ineligible for rehire" status despite my following all proper protocols. Furthermore, communication from Corporate is inconsistent and contradictory. I was told both that my notice was received but my two weeks were incomplete, and then later told that no notice was submitted at all. Even with physical proof of attendance (after a manager failed to adjust a manual clock-in as promised) and proof of the submitted notice, Corporate refused to correct the record.
