Pros

As a young adult it was pretty nice having to work at Regal.. My Regal was understaff so I pretty much had a fulltime job, but it didn't get in the way of school. I was getting 500 dollar paychecks every two weeks so I couldn't complain. The free tickets, nice when you have dates.

Cons

When they schedule you, you cannot change it. If your grandmother dropped dead like mines did you would have to quit before you can clock out early. You will have to work OVERTIME on Weekends depending on how busy your store is. You will have NO life working there.

Pros

The initial role offers good experience in sales and customer service, but the benefits are overshadowed by internal management failures.

Cons

The primary issue lies in the disconnect between local management and corporate HR, specifically regarding off-boarding and payroll accuracy. I submitted a formal two-week notice which was reportedly never filed by my manager. This resulted in an "ineligible for rehire" status despite my following all proper protocols. Furthermore, communication from Corporate is inconsistent and contradictory. I was told both that my notice was received but my two weeks were incomplete, and then later told that no notice was submitted at all. Even with physical proof of attendance (after a manager failed to adjust a manual clock-in as promised) and proof of the submitted notice, Corporate refused to correct the record.
