Pros
Free movies daily. Free popcorn/drinks when working/on breaks. Discounts on food at other times. Somewhat flexible schedules during the week. Business arrives in "sets," so there are busy hours with downtime between. Slower, more streamlined business in off-peak season (fall/winter/spring). Easy to request time off. Fun for a first job. Good for students, younger staff, and good for people who want part time.
Cons
No benefits unless you are full-time management. Uniform is very strict. No visible body art, and no unnaturally colored hair. No piercings. Pay hours are available based on business levels (amount of people buying tickets), so it is very possible to be sent home early for your shift if it is not busy. It happens more often than you think. Weekends and evenings are most likely dedicated to work. Depending on location, can leave work as late as 3am. Raises are given different at review, depending on management. No consistency between any upper management, district, or GM. Sometimes communication gets lost on many things. Employees who are not qualified or deserve it get promoted often.
