Pros

Very friendly environment and plenty of opportunities to get a promotion and to test and improve your leadership skills. Working at a smaller theater is like working with close friends because everyone knows everyone and tries to help each other out.

Cons

The pay is minimum wage in the beginning and they don't willingly give raises. Also, since Regal is a huge chain of theaters, there is a feeling of working for a large corporation and not having any say in important decisions.

Pros

The initial role offers good experience in sales and customer service, but the benefits are overshadowed by internal management failures.

Cons

The primary issue lies in the disconnect between local management and corporate HR, specifically regarding off-boarding and payroll accuracy. I submitted a formal two-week notice which was reportedly never filed by my manager. This resulted in an "ineligible for rehire" status despite my following all proper protocols. Furthermore, communication from Corporate is inconsistent and contradictory. I was told both that my notice was received but my two weeks were incomplete, and then later told that no notice was submitted at all. Even with physical proof of attendance (after a manager failed to adjust a manual clock-in as promised) and proof of the submitted notice, Corporate refused to correct the record.
