Pros
Bittersweet to be writing this, I loved this job. I loved coming in every day and seeing the staff I worked with, especially holding employee screenings. One of the best environments that I’ve ever worked in. I throughly enjoyed the movie benefits as well as just overall being able to please guests better.
Cons
Despite having worked for this company for quite a while and other theaters in issaquah and Bellevue having higher pay, corporate having announced pay raises internally never raised their wage to even match their Issaquah location despite Crossroads being harder to work in due to poor staffing and a host of concerns . This led to poor staff retention and bad morale that feel on the Dms deaf ears. Unfortunately HR at this company is god awful, after an audit our GM told us to no longer record time corrections and to only use the S-card, leading to mis-entered time corrections and would be gone frequently leading to management entering these incorrectly. Creating an environment where specific time accuracies weren’t held accountable. Due to college, I had to reduce my hours and because of this, he filed an HR report due to the inaccuracies, to find just cause to fire me. :(
