Pros

Zero pros at all. Would not reccomend.

Cons

I would not recommend getting a job at the live oak location. Where do I start? I used to work here and it is just awful, 9/10 times auditoriums are hot or experience issues. The entire theater, bathrooms, auditoriums and hallways stink to high hell. The managers are a joke. Couldn't barely go to the bathroom or step away from post for a couple minutes without being grilled. Yet managers 9/10 can be found standing around in the kitchen joking and chatting like they dont have jobs to do yet want to reprimand employees for doing similar things. Floor Staff and firewatch employees often duck off into unused auditoriums and just sit around doing squat! Employees and managers are rude asf and passive aggressive. Their entire system at the Live Oak, TX location is a joke. It's mismanaged, your micro managed everything that you do. The pay sucks, the benefits suck, the environment sucks. This is hands down the worst job ive ever had and the current management as of early 2025 is horrendous. The only person who deserves any kind of props for actually putting in effort and being respectful is the gm, Mr. Guajardo. Everyone else needs to get their act together asap! Glad I left! Couldn't pay me all the money in the world to return.

Pros

The initial role offers good experience in sales and customer service, but the benefits are overshadowed by internal management failures.

Cons

The primary issue lies in the disconnect between local management and corporate HR, specifically regarding off-boarding and payroll accuracy. I submitted a formal two-week notice which was reportedly never filed by my manager. This resulted in an "ineligible for rehire" status despite my following all proper protocols. Furthermore, communication from Corporate is inconsistent and contradictory. I was told both that my notice was received but my two weeks were incomplete, and then later told that no notice was submitted at all. Even with physical proof of attendance (after a manager failed to adjust a manual clock-in as promised) and proof of the submitted notice, Corporate refused to correct the record.
