Pros

-Flexible scheduling during weekdays, usually able to get at least one weekend day off (Fri-Sun) -Many co-workers were or became good friends -Easy job with some room for growth -Free movies!

Cons

-Horrible customers (in general, they treat you like dirt) -DRAMA -Favoritism is obvious -Schedule based on busyness of movies and not performance -Attracts shallow and/or stupid people to work there -Major lack of motivation from all the staff -Run by HR (in other words, if you do something that pisses off a customer enough to report you, regardless of what it is, you are most likely gone)

Pros

The initial role offers good experience in sales and customer service, but the benefits are overshadowed by internal management failures.

Cons

The primary issue lies in the disconnect between local management and corporate HR, specifically regarding off-boarding and payroll accuracy. I submitted a formal two-week notice which was reportedly never filed by my manager. This resulted in an "ineligible for rehire" status despite my following all proper protocols. Furthermore, communication from Corporate is inconsistent and contradictory. I was told both that my notice was received but my two weeks were incomplete, and then later told that no notice was submitted at all. Even with physical proof of attendance (after a manager failed to adjust a manual clock-in as promised) and proof of the submitted notice, Corporate refused to correct the record.
