Pros

Money, if that is what you love more than all else.

Cons

I have not been on the science side. Hopefully, that area is more professional. As far as the IT/business side goes, while this company works hard to preserve its shiny outward image, from the first day I started there was very ugly behavior. The place is like a zoo. When I first showed up for training there were these security guards who acted like angry cops. One tried to provoke a fight with a new guy in front of me - telling him he could "turn him around and walk him back out the door." As far as I could see, the employee had not done anything. I should have known what the place was like from that moment. Now I witness a nearby manager and his minions bully, manipulate and otherwise abuse employees and contractors. This includes verbal abuse, computer-based stalking and rude comments about women. I have seen higher level managers call a decent, hardworking manager a [blanking ] idiot in front of a full meeting table - in a manner that contributed nothing. This was then repeated at a later meeting, with additional justifications for this ridiculous performance. Nearly everyone who works here is frightened and snooped on. That seems to include lower managers. But those not in management are the biggest targets. it is playground rules at Regeneron. Someone I work with bragged "I have no shame and no self-respect." That sums up what you need to stick it out here.

Pros

Good pay and benefits. Flexibility of work hours.

Cons

If you're in the wrong group, it's a struggle to get autonomy even when you ask for more oversight of a group or project because micromanaging is an issue. I feel trapped where I am and growth has been stagnant. They also hold a mistake against you for years. Management afraid to give constructive criticism.
