Atmosphere is generally casual though very fast-paced. Upper management is typically very engaged with employees at all levels, educates about how company drug pipeline works from R&D to clinical trial and approval through to commercial scale manufacturing and distribution.

Lack of transparency in compensation/advancement process, great discrepancy in compensation within and between different groups/departments for similar experience and time with company, even for high performers. Often high-stress, long hours, poor work-life balance, depending on group/department.
