Pros

Good job security. Compensation is decent. A casual, often sociable workplace environment. Opportunities to have significant input on new business processes. Senior management keeps employees well informed.

Cons

The next few years are going to be a make or break test for the company. Regeneron IOPS has some major cultural issues that must be addressed if the company is remain successful. Employees are constantly being asked to do more, faster, and with less resources which can lead to unrealistic timelines. While the workplace is casual, it is also prone to promoting cliques which can be very disruptive. Moreover, interdepartmental and intergroup conflict is common and, in some cases, quite severe. Many employees do not really care about their work and just do the minimum required to get by. Compounding the issues, lower level managers and supervisors are poorly trained and were promoted based on seniority rather than aptitude. Some supervisors are quite disrespectful towards employees and promote an environment of negativity.

Pros

Good pay and benefits. Flexibility of work hours.

Cons

If you're in the wrong group, it's a struggle to get autonomy even when you ask for more oversight of a group or project because micromanaging is an issue. I feel trapped where I am and growth has been stagnant. They also hold a mistake against you for years. Management afraid to give constructive criticism.
