Pros

Great colleagues who try to band together in a frustrating environment run by senior management who are completely disconnected.

Cons

Having worked here for just over four and half years (four and half years I'll never get back), I feel it's my duty to warn fellow IT professionals to avoid working for this company. If you're someone who wants a career progression, wants to get involved in cutting edge technology and wants to work for a company who appreciates technology rather than sees it as a burden or even just someone who has a good idea, then this is DEFINITELY NOT the place for you. Regus really undervalues it's staff not appreciating the amount of time and effort people put in to help this greedy monster generate the kind of revenue it has. Staff will come up with some great ideas but it will often be ignored because someone higher up believes they have the solution to save Regus after reading some article about some cloud solution which is going to be much easier and cheaper to develop. I think their heads are definitely in the cloud, some cuckoo cloud land. They also think that outsourcing is the way forward for everything. The current CIO is a fan of outsourcing (although he won't admit it). Communication is a foreign concept at Regus. In the last couple of years there have been about three or four sets of redundancies. Each time it's happened, we only find out about it on the day when we see people suddenly packing their stuff and saying goodbye. In the most recent set of redundancies, my line manager and his line manager were made redundant which meant I reported directly to the CIO. Was this communicated? No! In fact some people had to convince the CIO that maybe he should have a town hall and explain what is going on. Reluctantly, he did and in classic Regus management fashion he kept it short and pointless, to quote him "This is only going to take 3 minutes". The root cause of Regus's negative and demoralising atmosphere stems from the CEO who runs the company in a dictatorial fashion. He doesn't trust his staff and insists on knowing every detail of implementation, expenditure and who to blame when things go wrong. If this company is ever going to progress, get rid of him.

Pros

Great work-life balance, lots of opportunities to learn.

Cons

I don't really have anything bad to say; it was a great first job.

Pros

Good coworkers, decent clients that outweigh the difficult clients.

Cons

Lack of support from management. You're expected to do IT, move furniture, cleaning, sales, etc. for low pay. Most of the job is just getting yelled at by clients due to the company's predatory business model. Both clients & staff are stonewalled by automated systems run by AI.
