Pros

There are some good professionals who work for the company and are very dedicated to their patients.

Cons

Bottom line is very important with this company. Management often talks out of both sides of their mouth. They tell staff to blatantly do one thing and then when the customer questions them they change their story and throw the employee under the bus. Please be aware that there is no loyalty. I have seen long term employees be terminated with little to no explanation. Almost all of their RDOs are inexperienced and primarily OTAs and PTAs with little knowledge of Medicare and Therapy regulations. The RDOs who are knowledgable and have experience and who really are able to lead their teams have resigned or been terminated. Reliant use to be a much better company to work for up until 1 to 1 1/2 years ago when leadership changed. It is just not nearly as strong of a company. The loyalty and trust that was once established within this company is no more. Their is a sense of desperation. It is true that there have been multiple pay cuts and the benefits are extremely high but Reliant is not isolated with this situation. This is happening with most contract therapy providers with the given Medicare changes.

Thank you so much for your kind word. We’re thrilled to hear you’ve had a great experience and appreciate you highlighting our benefits, leadership, and culture. Staffing can definitely be a challenge, and we’re continuing to invest in onboarding by piloting a new 'New HIre Orientation" with plans to roll it out to all locations in 2026. Grateful to have you as part of the Reliant family! - The Reliant Rehabilitation Team

Pros

Not much. Co-workers and my employees were amazing.

Cons

They do not care about you as a person. Absolutely will treat you like a number and will get rid of you with no notice. I never got a raise in the 5 years I was a DOR.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for your years of service as a Director of Rehabilitation. We are dissapointed to hear that your experience did not reflect the culture and support we strive to provide for our employees. At Reliant, we recognize that our people are the foundation of our success, and we take concerns regarding leadership, communication, and employee experience seriously. While we cannot comment on individual employment matters, we value all feedback as an opportunity to learn and improve. We are grateful for the dedication you brought to your team and the residents you served throughout your tenure. We wish you continued success in your future endeavors and appreciate you sharing your perspective. - The Reliant Team.
