Pros

1) The company pays very well for sites that are in rural locations 2) The company offers a comparatively high amount of PTO/vacation (however watch out, because there are no official sick says or holidays- PTO is used to cover these) 3) Relatively quick on-boarding process 4) Good e-documentation system (for rehabilitation staff) 5) No flu shot required (for those to prefer to defer the vaccination)

Cons

1) High levels of stress on department managers, who are expected to treat full time as well as manage administrative duties 2) High pressure from upper management on clinical staff to treat for financial gain rather than patient needs 3) Mediocre equipment and difficulty in getting approval for new equipment 4) Long commute to rural sites 5) Poor communication from upper management regarding policies. For example, for employees who are resigning, company will NOT buy out PTO unless a buy out form is completed; however upon notice of resignation management did not provide appropriate notice of this policy. 6) Poor cost saving policies- for example, in many states this company has terminated all rehabilitation techs, thereby increasing stress on clinical and administrative staff 7) High productivity expectations for rehabilitation staff 8) No official orientation process on site- employees are expected to learn about the facility and how to use the e-documentation system as they go and with help from other clinical staff

Thank you so much for your kind word. We’re thrilled to hear you’ve had a great experience and appreciate you highlighting our benefits, leadership, and culture. Staffing can definitely be a challenge, and we’re continuing to invest in onboarding by piloting a new 'New HIre Orientation" with plans to roll it out to all locations in 2026. Grateful to have you as part of the Reliant family! - The Reliant Rehabilitation Team

Pros

Not much. Co-workers and my employees were amazing.

Cons

They do not care about you as a person. Absolutely will treat you like a number and will get rid of you with no notice. I never got a raise in the 5 years I was a DOR.
