Pros

+ The people (but most have not been laid off or left) + Free snacks + Free Lunch (but you eat while you work at your desk) + Decent product & platform for the industry + Hire a ton of Devs?

Cons

Where to begin. + Zero Q/A of the platform. Constantly released with major bugs or issues - mainly due to c-suite pushing unrealistic deadlines and not outsourcing any Dev work. + Zero transparency - The departments are completely siloed, with product/engineering not communicating with marketing, and marketing not communicating with sales, etc. + Zero leadership - The company is being driven by real estate agents who don't know how to scale a SaaS business. I don't believe they've ever had a CMO, and engineering is all over the place. There are no key middle managers in place to prevent C-suite from steamrolling over employees. Don't expect to get any professional development opportunities either. + Not built to last - Having worked at other startups, this company isn't built for the long haul. With the recent layoff of over 40+ personnel, they are soley focused on reducing the likely crazy burn rate and hoping for an aquistion (this is my guess). + I would personally never recommend working with the individuals in C-suite ever again. They don't take suggestions, feedback, or input. They purposely don't hire people who will question their ideas or direction. It's total micromanagement at it's finest, and I believe the downfall of the business.

Pros

I worked with some really great people.

Cons

After 7 years of dedication and riding all the ups and downs and turmoil this company has experienced, basically from its inception, I was let go with no notice and NO severance. I feel I've known that the day Remine would shutter it's doors was coming from the moment we were sold, but I kept showing up trying to change that fact. Without the tools, funds, resources and people required to make a difference there was never a chance of success. Now, after this round of layoffs, I fear there is no future for those remaining at Remine. The board has no care about the people at Remine and this company has no future.
