The team, mission and culture principles

Cons

As Remote.com has expanded quickly over the past couple of years, it seems that some of the original company culture has been lost in the process. The close-knit, supportive environment that I initially joined has evolved into a more fast-paced and demanding workplace where the values were not always lived in reality, this has impacted team dynamics and the overall employee experience.

As we state in our public handbook, we are a high growth company and the culture of the company will and must change with this growth. It's our shared responsibility to make it so that it becomes better, even if different. The fast pace will not change, but this should never be at the expense of a supportive environment or living our values, so it’s disappointing to hear that you felt this was happening.
