Pros

I love the department in which I work. Great management team and providers as well as a wonderful team of co-workers in my group. I've grown a lot as a person within this position and I have always been treated fairly and with care and respect by the entire management team. I feel very lucky. It is a large employer and, as such, has a wide variety of experiences of employees but mine is pretty much completely positive. The benefit package is very good and is a big plus to working in a corporate environment. There are tuition benefits (which I do not need) and many others such as volunteer time being paid. The soft benefits are that are only getting better since I started here. I will say one last thing and that is that any good idea has a channel to be heard and that will only make Renown a more flexible and innovative organization moving forward.

Cons

The cons are pretty standard fare. I feel the starting pay for non-professional level personnel should be higher. It is corporate so there can be the experience of slowness with which most large organizations move when it comes to change.

Daily communication with my team. My team has been friendly since I started. I really enjoy the remote/hybrid environment they have set up for the accounting department and it made juggling my school schedule easier!
