Pros
I would not recommend this organization to anyone. I have worked as a nurse for many years and have worked with countless nurses and doctors who were treated terribly here. Google Renown and Sierra Nevada Cardiology Associates lawsuit to read about the horrible way the physicians were treated. The CEO had to resign. But the bad company culture is still there. If you are a bobblehead who follows their rules no matter whether it is right or wrong, you will succeed here. If you like to be controlled, this is the place for you!
Cons
1) Nurses bullying, management bullying, classic textbook example of "Nurses eating their young" rampant here. No teamwork here. 2) Human resources is aligned with management, don't expect anyone to help you there. 3) This is management's motto for "motivating" their nurses to perform: Instill "fear and guilt". 4) Don't be late to work, not by one minute, they may use that against you someday. 5) You will not have a voice or be able to express new ideas to improve or make things better. You really won't have a voice period. I feel it's very much like a concentration camp. 6) Wages here are one of the lowest among the area hospitals. They know that there are only a couple other hospitals to work here so there are not many options. 7) I left this horrible company after 3 weeks. What a waste of my time. I was given many promises (example: work schedule) and it was not recognized. Make sure you have everything you want in writing. Even then, I'm not sure that would help you because they seem to do whatever they want anyway.
