Pros
Remote, some good people who care and try to do the right thing in a difficult environment.
Cons
The firefighting and scrambling here is unlike anything I’ve seen before. Band-aids are hastily slapped on major systemic issues and underlying causes are never addressed. You need a really thick skin to succeed. Leadership pulls lower level employees in a million different directions on a day to day basis and the goalposts are constantly moving, resulting in hard workers feeling like they’re terrible at their jobs and tanking morale. This also deprioritizes career development as there’s no time to even focus on it for long enough. Jobs are often upleveled after the employee leaves. Focus is on acquisitions and doing “more more more”, not on their employees. Glaring lack of women in senior positions.
