Business Outlook
Pros
Generally speaking, it's remarkably tough to get fired and if they think you're talented enough, they'll try to find a place you fit in even if you are not successful with the job they hired you to do. They focus on promoting from within first, which is good and bad. Bad if you're not yet with the company, but good once you're there.
Cons
Plenty of red tape as a large, publicly traded company in an industry that's had it's run-in's with the anti-trust folks. Things tend to move very slowly and there's often many rules and ways of doing things that don't really make sense, but that's the way the rules are and not many feel confident enough to rock the boat and persistently ask why.
