Pros
-Hires GREAT people who enter into the organization motivated -Has a positive name in most communities -Has set core values that align with employee's personal values -Working (slowly) towards process improvement -CEO that knows the business and understands how to grow it
Cons
-Management (division, area, region, and HQ) completely FAILS to retain said GREAT people (low raises, low-quality training, dismissive attitudes) -Low morale completely ignored -Terrible review system. How do 90% of the employees get rated "Meets Expectations" when 30% probably exceed and 30% are below? But you all get 2% raise! Right on! -Pay/bonues, benefits (medical, personal development) tend to be on the lower scale -Those great core values I mentioned above aren't really valued.
