Pros
ResMed has a culture of integrity and they are people focused. The benefits at ResMed are the best I have ever seen. I am not just speaking of benefit premiums but also the various benefits offered. The company cares about the experience of their employees and will do whatever they can to support you. Their diversity and inclusion initiatives are genuine. If you are a minority, you not only have a voice but you are supported as well. ResMed strives to constantly improve themselves and they communicate well to their employees. In a season of never ending Zoom meetings, ResMed has figured out how to not only maintain a cohesive team with some remote employees but to really succeed at it as well. You will receive support and appreciation. Through sufficient staffing and consistent modeling of strong leadership from the top of the organization, a great culture has been created. You belong here if you desire to contribute to a progressive organization that has a focus on people - the people you interact with day to day and the people whose lives are changed through the gift of breath.
Cons
No organization is perfect. ResMed could move a little faster with some things and a little slower with others. In a competitive industry, agility is critical. You just want to make sure you have the right balance of it. We have a lot of great systems and processes and sometimes they can seem overwhelming to get your hands around all of them. It can be a bit of a challenge to figure out where the training tools and resources are to get you up to speed on all aspects of your role. With that said, there is always someone willing to help and explain things to you. Again, the support is available to get you through.
