Pros

Some genuinely great colleagues A fantastic consumer banking app

Cons

- Certain C-Suite members are aggressive and disinterested in anything other than their own opinions of solving problems - Micro management is off the scale and counterproductive - A deeply flawed and toxic work environment that demonstrates very low trust in anyone that is isn’t an ‘operating partner’ or c-suite - High staff turnover at all levels - many examples of working closely with someone one week only to find them ‘deactivated’ the next

Revolut Response

Hi there, thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. It's painful hearing how disappointing you found your Revoluter experience. We all know that Revolut has massive goals that inevitably demand a lot from our teams in short sprint cycles, but we never intend that to be at our colleagues' expense. We all have different thresholds for pressure and varied workload capacities and we try to be aware of those differences. We try to outline clearly how Revolut works (and how demanding we can be) on our Careers page and during recruitment we know that many people join us with their eyes open and thrive on our start up culture. Our teams expect high standards of work and often need a quick turnaround time. We work hard, learn a lot but we also have a lot of fun and excitement along the way. We never condone or accept abusive behaviour. It's unhealthy and can be damaging and we hope that you reported anything you observed that falls short of respecting one's colleagues. We're expanding many teams to keep on track to meet our business targets while balancing how much any individual can be responsible for. We wish you the best in your next step.

Pros

Working at Revolut was one of the most rewarding experiences in my career. Every day brought something new to learn, and I was trusted with meaningful work from the beginning. The pace is fast, but that's exactly what helped me develop my analytical thinking, decision-making, and financial crime investigation skills. I genuinely enjoyed working with my team, they were approachable, knowledgeable, and always willing to help when needed. If you're someone who enjoys solving complex problems, taking ownership, and continuously learning, you'll appreciate the culture here. Looking back, I'm grateful for everything I learned during my time at Revolut.

Cons

The probation period can be quite challenging because the expectations are high from the start. There is a lot to learn in a relatively short period, and it can feel a little overwhelming initially. That said, once you adapt to the pace and understand the processes, it becomes much more manageable and rewarding.

Pros

Highly challenging culture that values your work

Cons

Not for everyone. There is a high bar in performance and all are expected to excel at work.
