Pros

A fast-growing and ambitious company with a dynamic and efficient work environment. Processes and bureaucratic hurdles are addressed promptly, which keeps things moving smoothly. Compensation is competitive. The engineering team stands out — highly skilled, collaborative, and genuinely supportive colleagues. There are also good opportunities for internal mobility across teams and departments.

Cons

Some productivity metrics, like lines of code or PR count. The culture favors those who prioritize work and seek big, complex challenges. Industry-standard frameworks are rarely used, which may affect long-term skill relevance. Compensation can be inconsistent — new mid-level hires might out-earn experienced seniors or leads. Team quality varies: some have weak product direction. It's easy to experience imposter syndrome, even as a strong engineer.

Pros

Working at Revolut was one of the most rewarding experiences in my career. Every day brought something new to learn, and I was trusted with meaningful work from the beginning. The pace is fast, but that's exactly what helped me develop my analytical thinking, decision-making, and financial crime investigation skills. I genuinely enjoyed working with my team, they were approachable, knowledgeable, and always willing to help when needed. If you're someone who enjoys solving complex problems, taking ownership, and continuously learning, you'll appreciate the culture here. Looking back, I'm grateful for everything I learned during my time at Revolut.

Cons

The probation period can be quite challenging because the expectations are high from the start. There is a lot to learn in a relatively short period, and it can feel a little overwhelming initially. That said, once you adapt to the pace and understand the processes, it becomes much more manageable and rewarding.

Pros

Highly challenging culture that values your work

Cons

Not for everyone. There is a high bar in performance and all are expected to excel at work.
