No path to advancement since BAT took over; promotions of legacy people has near ceased, with international assignments and external candidates getting priority. Creates a ridiculous churn of seasoned people educating and doing the work for superiors who know little to nothing of the US market or the industry in general. IT is under resourced. Field trade is demoralized and angry, legacy corporate employees are too. Ridiculously lax position on COVID19 as delta rages through the US. Recent remote policy not enough, months late in the making and obviously (thankfully) Altria forced their hand. Meanwhile leadership lives all over the world.
