Pros

The opportunities to gain leadership skills and take hope good pay as an RSAP are surprisingly abundant and varied. Rhodes does a good job of matching students to jobs that actually reflect their skills and interests, not just opportunities for pay.

Cons

Because student workers report to the department for which they work 99.9%, it can be hard to deal with central administration who often don't fully understand exactly what you do or why. Each department manages its workers in different ways, and the differences between academic departments, physical plant, the library, etc. can be immense.

Loved my education here so I loved fundraising for the school.

Cons

Extremely high turnover and serious issues with communication. Important conversations were so shrouded in corporate speak and plattitudes that nothing ever got done.
