Pros

I had a lot of freedom to explore different things I wanted to write about Memphis, and in my own unique voice. A great, open environment--I got a lot of great writing experience.

Cons

I almost didn't get to write enough! Whenever I'd finish an article, I'd have to wait a few days before I was allowed to post another one, and they all had to be fairly short, under 1000 words.

Loved my education here so I loved fundraising for the school.

Cons

Extremely high turnover and serious issues with communication. Important conversations were so shrouded in corporate speak and plattitudes that nothing ever got done.
