Pros
Most people are friendly and nice. The new building is really modern and much nicer than previous office. One good thing about the actual management is that they are fairly open to internal transfers, so there is opportunity to move within the company.
Cons
Recently moved to the new building which is nice. But for years half the staff worked out of a converted warehouse that couldn't support the amount of people and bathroom usage... so the sewage would back up and soak half of the hallways in the building. It was nasty. In my departments the managers were terrible. 1) Incredibly stingy with raises/bonuses EVEN when the company and the department in particular were doing really well. The whole company refuses to do adjustments/raises outside of the annual company-wide pay review. The worst part, is that if you asked for an adjustment you get vague feedback like "we'll see what we can do"... and then they wouldn't tell you until AFTER the adjustment... so what you got (which was usually a lowball) is what you were stuck with for at least another year til the next review came around. 2) Expect you to work unreasonable amounts. They expect you to put in 12 hours of work a day. 0 work life balance. Some of the managers do that themselves, which isn't a good thing, but at least it's not as insulting as others who leave at 5:30 and leave you with all the work. 3) 0 support from your manager I had managers that would get ANNOYED if you asked them a question. They would say "my door is always open" but then they would leave you hanging for WEEKS when trying to get a meeting. If you showed up at their office you'd get death stared and they said they had "no time". 4) Communication style is 'passive aggressive'. So be ready for some toxicity!
