Pros

Advancement opportunities are great within the company. Training and emphasis on safety are top notch. Friendly coworkers make the hard work bearable.

Cons

Having to work the rotating shift, nights and weekends even on Holidays so that you don't get to spend time with family. Pay scale is all over the place, needs to be raised to help accommodate the workload.

Pros

Benefits are fantastic, employee share program, inexpensive insurance options with generous HSA contributions ($3000 per year), ample opportunities for career growth for those willing to relocate (internationally sometimes)

Cons

Mining is cyclic, layoffs are always a looming threat, depending on role 50-60 hr work week is common
