Pros
Great fringe benefits (401k, stock match, paid vacation, etc.); awesome sandbox to play in (lots of big toys, big processes, etc.). Good front-line people.
Cons
Foreign-owned strong matrix organization=non-local bureaucracy rules the day. High performers are rewarded with more responsibility for same pay. Common for senior management to be industrial tourist career track (2-3 yrs at a site, then move on to the next site), resulting in a solid divide between internal tourists and long-term site-invested employees.
