Pros
- Wonderful people. Non-leadership especially, although many principals are fair and supportive. I feel like I have a community of people who care about me here. - Emphasis on learning and development. I've definitely furthered my career at Rios. - Overall positive culture. People are warm, playful, and respectful of one another. Strong teamwork.
Cons
- Feedback can be weird. A lot of people don't get why they're getting certain feedback during review cycles. When we don't understand or agree, they blame us and say that we're just not good at taking feedback. It can be demoralizing to receive formal reviews where our performance is graded on 1-off accidents, is misunderstood, or simply wasn't told to us to fix in real time. - Partners and other leadership can be hard to trust. There was a series of firings last winter that was kept hush-hush until colleagues started dropping like flies. We didn't know why and a lot of us got scared that we'd be next.
