Pros

Most Rioters really do believe in the manifesto and try and do what is right for the players as often as possible. Los Angeles is a great place to live as a young professional. The benefits are insanely good.

Cons

Nepotism is pretty rampant in various parts of the org. A large percentage of senior leaders have either checked out entirely, or are fearful of change as it could topple their power structure. Some disciplines are paid competitively and others are a joke. Accountability is pretty poor across the board, allowing below average people sink teams.

Pros

The people. So nice, so passionate (albeit in pockets). Benefits! Great insurance and vacation.

Cons

Quite corporate. Rigid structure. There is reluctance to take risks. Difficult to move between projects or roles as a producer.

Pros

Great benefits, pays well, can work on some very interesting problems.

Cons

Work hours are from 10-7 and hardly anyone actually works that, so stuff can move at a snail pace. Getting help from central teams can be painful, especially if they're way off hours. Some of the culture can get a bit overwhelming too and you can end up feeling pretty lonely if you don't drink the koolaid.
