      Pros

      Riot does a good job with their employer perks. They offer so much from free food, great health plans, company activities, etc.

      Cons

      The code is a dumpster fire. Not a single person knows what’s going on. Almost everyone on my team started within the last year. No one wants to spend time fixing horrible architecture and so everything is bandaids on bandaids. Your entire job is to make new bandaids. You will never do anything new and fun, just be assigned bugs to fix that are hard to track down because there’s basically no documentation or unit tests for anything.

      Pros

      The people. So nice, so passionate (albeit in pockets). Benefits! Great insurance and vacation.

      Cons

      Quite corporate. Rigid structure. There is reluctance to take risks. Difficult to move between projects or roles as a producer.

      Pros

      Great benefits, pays well, can work on some very interesting problems.

      Cons

      Work hours are from 10-7 and hardly anyone actually works that, so stuff can move at a snail pace. Getting help from central teams can be painful, especially if they're way off hours. Some of the culture can get a bit overwhelming too and you can end up feeling pretty lonely if you don't drink the koolaid.
