Pros

Outstanding amenities, great benefits, IC level people are wonderful to work with, it's video games!

Cons

The head of GPS is an insecure person promoted above their competence level. They create a hostile environment for their direct reports which trickles down to the rest of us. They tell us they support our initiatives but then come barging in when we're well under way with amnesia to what was previously agreed and nitpicking everything because they don't understand it. They put everyone on defense and we end up working crazy hours to make them feel better and leave us alone... Until it happens again. "Like a child who wanders into the middle of a movie and wants to know." -The Big Lebowski.

Pros

The people. So nice, so passionate (albeit in pockets). Benefits! Great insurance and vacation.

Cons

Quite corporate. Rigid structure. There is reluctance to take risks. Difficult to move between projects or roles as a producer.

Pros

Great benefits, pays well, can work on some very interesting problems.

Cons

Work hours are from 10-7 and hardly anyone actually works that, so stuff can move at a snail pace. Getting help from central teams can be painful, especially if they're way off hours. Some of the culture can get a bit overwhelming too and you can end up feeling pretty lonely if you don't drink the koolaid.
