Pros
Rippling’s product is fantastic, and you’ll know how good it is if you’ve used other products Has opportunity to grow your career if you work like 15 hours a day or if you’re good at politics (so at least it’s an opportunity for people who want to grow fast) Overall compensation package (including RSUs) is decent
Cons
Unfortunately, Rippling has a lot of cons from both startups and large companies’ side. On one hand, Rippling has passed the startup phase based on the number of employees that it has, but it still functions as a startup company: crazy working hours (12 hours a day is standard) with no WLB, literally no benefits, no clear career growth path as everyone cares about KPIs and growth, no process on a lot of things, the leadership team thinks that they know all the details, so micro-manage everything, and they don’t trust the talents that they hired. On the other hand, Rippling started to hire high level positions from large companies, and these people are just so good at politics, so politics are everywhere even if you’re not on the senior leadership teams.
