Pros
- Extremely smart people. This is the best part; every employee has an interesting story and wants to build something special at Rippling. If you know that one team is building a new product, or say they will improve a feature, you can be sure, they will be some meaningful progress. The people are the key to the success to Rippling, everything else is consequence of having the right people. - A great business vision, well executed - Lot of opportunities to grow as an individual. Even more junior engineers would be given opportunities to work on large projects and take on more leadership.
Cons
- The pace is fast. Moving fast is part of the Rippling DNA and a competitive advantage, so this one is pretty much expected. Hint: you need to be great a prioritizing your work - the hiring bar is high, ask the recruiter how you can prepare and be ready to give you a chance. - Some growing pain that would find with a late-stage startup, some tech debt. They are some initiatives to address this but there is still a lot to do. So, if you want to help, this is also an opportunity to have an impact. - Benefits are probably a bit lower than some other tech companies.
