Management does not communicate with employees - Software Engineer Rite-Solutions Employee Review

I have been at the company for about 6 months and I am mainly working on a contract for them I am dealing with the customer most of the time, so I mainly work off-site with the customers and a select few others from the company. This is a little frustrating because I am never going to be considered for future roles since no one in the company knows me. I have not talked to my boss since my first day. I have no idea how the company is doing financially and I barely hear about anything that is happening with the company. I try to attend all company events when I know about them, but every time I go I feel like I am not part of the company.
