Pick the right group - Staff Hardware Engineer Rivian Employee Review

They give titles away like candy to retain employees. I worked with people that had staff titles but were not staff level engineers. They would send me garbage and I would have to show them how to do their job. I would suggest getting all the resumes of people in your group to really understand their skill set. No one in one of my groups had ever produced a successful product. Workload is crazy. All they worry about is delivering something on time for upper management. Does not give you time to evaluate and deliver an optimized device. I feel this is counter to their environmental mission.
