Lot of insight into the developments in the market. Work life balance if German OEM's are your customers. Language training programs which happen twice a year. Knowledge in depth about the subject available in archives. No risk in the job.
Cons
Onsite opportunities are a myth. You need to get lucky to get to the right department and the right set of managers. Active Safety has hardly any department where core development is done. We act primarily as support to Germany or NA or Australia. Don't get opportunity to explore the functionality as the main development is not done here. Good place to become a politician. Laid back lifestyle. Low hike and ctc. Growth is very slow.
