Pros
I worked for Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions in Bangalore, India supporting operations of Bosch Rexroth in Lohr, Germany. My experience with work and projects at first was a little shaky, as upper management had no clear vision and plan for fresh engineer hires and where to place them. I was shuffled around for a while, later settling into an Industrial Automation project with an excellent team. Working hours were good (as per Indian standards of software divisions).
Cons
Salary was below par, and promotions and hikes were hard to come by. I was told this is due to a downturn in RBEI's revenue year on year. This led to general dissatisfaction among employees, with Siemens and other rivals offering some top talent from within my division upto 50% increases to migrate.
