I guess it's great if you're German - Engineer Robert Bosch Employee Review

Pros

Worked part time in the logistics department, my main purpose was to optimize the warehouses layout and improve the shipment method. Quite decent salaries.

Cons

Almost everyone in power positions were German, and there was a strong dependence on what the people from Stuttgart thought. Those Germans treated the 'foreigners' in a different manner. Also, they were dishonest with my contract (they wanted to make me sign conditions that hadn't been discussed during the job interview). Terrible work-life balance: The factory never closed and I had to begin at 6:00am. Some employees (not me) had to work during all 3 shifts at some point of the year.

Pros

Work-life balance is great and getting an internship extended is very common.

Cons

Not on the cutting edge of tech at all and they seem to move slowly much like the rest of the auto industry.
