Pros

I've been working for this company for the last 3 years, and have seen a complete transformation of Robert Half. For a very long time Robert Half had the image of being a micro manager and too uptight, or not flexible. - Well in the last year all of that has changed. The company has taken a new direction to empower new employees, by providing them with a great on-boarding process. Many of the division directors have a human approach to coaching their staff, and the new energy filling our ranks is simply brilliant. Old staff and new staff are transforming the way we work with more collaboration between divisions, and everyone is there chipping in to help guide our new staff to success. - Overall the new Robert Half in the Montreal office, is great place to work, with great new and old colleagues. Its been 10 years since I've worked for a company that puta a smile on my face on Monday, and every other day.

- Need a better selection of Coffee. - Need to fix the heating near the windows.

Pros

Success with other departments - just not in mine

Cons

Complete bait and switch. I accepted this position under one manager, only to find out after resigning from my previous job that I would be reporting to someone else entirely. There was no meaningful onboarding, no training materials, and no support system in place. My manager openly stated that there was no monetary value in helping me succeed and made little effort to train or develop me. Requests to shadow and learn the business were dismissed in favor of keeping me on the phones. Instead of being set up for success, I felt actively prevented from growing. HR was equally disappointing. I raised legitimate concerns and never received a response. The organization talks about development and support, but my experience suggested otherwise. Joining this company was one of the biggest professional mistakes I have made.
