Pros

- Pay was alright, I guess

Cons

- They are extremely good at selling the position as better than it is. Do not take every word they say as truth - I went in thinking I would be placed at clients to do Staff Accountant work, with maybe some engagements here and there doing just AR. My first engagement was almost a 2 year contract doing SALES. I told my manager that I did not sign up for this, I am here to do accounting work. She tried saying that I don't get to turn down engagements and it was all about timing and what was available. Luckily, a client looking for an accountant responded before the client looking for a sales person did. - I ended up working three engagements: Staff Accountant, Collections, and AR - During my 3rd engagement, they asked how I was liking being an FTEP. I told them I wasn't really happy, and I thought the job opportunity with them was going to be different. I asked if I could work with the Permanent Placement team to find a full time job somewhere else (they would still be making a bunch of money off me by doing so). They said that was fine. I got one interview (the company ended up hiring internally) and then they never sent me anything else or even touched base every now and then to let me know there weren't any opportunities. I genuinely think they just forgot about me. Then they laid me off and told me the Perm team was going to help me find another job and they literally never reached out. - I will say, the managers are VERY overworked. They are in meetings all day and they are constantly on the phone with clients or colleagues. They really do have a lot to juggle. With that being said though, that means you (on the bottom of the totem pole) are even less important and your needs will probably go unmet. - Oh yeah, medical benefits were the worst I'd ever had. Expensive, subpar plans

Pros

Very flexible work that can be done from anywhere. Would give half a star if possible.

Cons

You have the worst comp plan out of any other big recruiting company. Upper management promotes hostile work environments by discussing firing people and taking commissions from those that they are supposed to be training, this is in front of everyone in the bull pin. I have also been retaliated against when trying to give feedback, they won’t help and will try and get you to quit if you give any negative feedback. The sales team has gone from 10 people to less than 5 in less than 2 years and they are letting people train and hire that are later demoted months later. I would stay far away from here and would only use this job as a stepping stone much better opportunity is elsewhere. Never work for Garry or Zach.
