A company and the London branch in decline.
Consistent cheesy sales chat where as a Manager you never ever have a say. Managers made to do 'budgets' which are meaningless as you're told the numbers and what to say. Then after the 'budgets' they are never brought up again.
One to One meetings always pushed and cancelled.
Life spent in meetings about nothing.
No training or ability to progress if you are a woman as it's a boys club. No woman in senior positions. All either left or demoted themselves due to the management route being poorly paid.
Very poor commission structure.
Everyone treated like a rookie, senior management have no clue how to manage tenured members of staff. All just KPI's and sales chat.
Everyone told to be in 5 days a week, no autonomy. Senior leadership don't believe of virtual working. "You can't be effective."
If you hear the following sales lines run a mile and move firm, you're being manipulated:
"Mate, you're really important to us and we trust you"
"A step back is not always a step in the wrong direction"
"We've had a lot of conversations about your career"
"Experience tells us if you have a deep narrow focus you will blow it up quickly,...A stepping stone to bigger things"
"It's for your benefit to get you where you want to be long term...create your own path"
What ever we do is with your best interests at heart....it's all about your personal development"
"You're fundamental to the success of London and the region"
