Pros

At first, the mission was great and I agree for the most part Free healthcare I didn’t have to actually see anyone in person

Cons

The culture was a lie. Almost nobody in the company knows how to trade and really don’t believe in Democratizing finance. The employees are almost all just the rejects from other firms and have a “story” for why they worked there, usually cuz they weren’t competitive or good enough at the last places They were all fake and talked behind peoples backs and made up stories a lot about other people Management also would dislike anyone with ambition or drive because it would make them look bad, so the best people didn’t last long. Overall, it’s like a giant middle school with all the gossip and fake people that it’s a joke

a lot of things are out of your control and you will get penalized for things that are not your fault

Pros

- Not super micromanagey culture unless you get stuck with a micromangey manager - good pay + stocks - interesting work - easy to jump teams - nice managers for the most part and peers - i had good work life balance as long as u get ur work done u can choose ur hours

Cons

- a lot of approvals needed to get work completed. You need to make everyone happy in order to ship something and that takes alot of work and most of your day is in meetings or prepping for these meetings instead of just doing the work. - reorgs happen often - the vibes were not great in the creative function.
