      Pros

      Great WLB, company shares very transparently. I love the AMA every other weeks. I works at Luobu, a Chinese start up created by Roblox and Tencent. Roblox invites me twice to HQ in San Mateo and it's a blast

      Cons

      Very sad to get laid off as I really enjoy working at Roblox. Would be nice to have more internal transfer opportunity to work on different roles and partner closely with US colleagues

      Wonderful people, free & tasty breakfast and lunch with a lot of options, not too much pressure

      Lots of responsibility, lower RO rate (for interns)

      Pros

      Total compensation is top of the market. Good benefits, matching 401k, free DEXA scans, nice HQ.

      Cons

      Chaotic management. Violatile stock price, one year you can make a lot of money with your RSUs, the next year its all worthless. Progression is hard, on paper they have a standardized rubric for leveling engineers but when it comes to calibration that's when the gaslighting and the caveat starts.
