Pros

Good benefits, PTO, unlimited sick time

Cons

Roche Tissue Diagnostics really underpays in multiple roles/functions/levels. It's actually embarrassing coming from a top-tier big pharma company. I'm getting poached by recruiters for a CDM and PM role (two) at very low hourly rates. It's shocking how low these rates are considering the responsibilities for the role itself. I know firsthand what encompasses the daily life/work involved and it's wearing 'multiple hats' nonstop in very fast-paced deliverables and multiple projects, including in-house studies. So these low $30/hr rates for a CDM is not OK and is not industry-standard.

Supporting the well-being of our employees is a priority at Roche, and we regularly review our programs to ensure they remain meaningful and responsive to changing needs. We also understand that workload and balance can vary across teams and roles. When those experiences fall short, it’s important that we listen and learn. Feedback like yours helps us continue improving how we support our people—both in the benefits we offer and how we create an environment where everyone can thrive personally and professionally. We would encourage you to discuss your concerns with your local manager or HRBP in order to come up with a plan that helps you better balance both your work and outside-of-work life.

Pros

The benefits are great and the pay is better than most.

Cons

They care more about forcing efficiency measures than solving root problems. They want to enact "morale boost" events but refuse to ask why we were unhappy. This year they decided to devalue our pay and our efforts by giving everyone a static 2% raise
