Pros

Getting to work at something meaningful. Superior work mates.

Cons

DISGRACEFUL and MINDBOGGLING how the best of employees are worked to death for very little pay and great disregard for employee's mental and physical health. What hospital organization does not even offer sick days to its employees? Constant contradictions, no true leadership, and NO ONE in leadership positions will ever go to bat for their employees. They let amazing people go without a second thought about why this pattern happens REPEATEDLY. Therapists are worked to death, held responsible for EVERYTHING with only more and more responsibilities added on. Staff meetings are not inspirational, just a time to add more job requirements onto an already impossible load. The office I work in could be so special; however, nothing ever changes. This is the pattern: Get hired, be provided no training, no support for continued education, work 65-80 hours per week, get a 3 cent raise every 3 years, terrible supervision because the supervisors of stressed out and overworked, be put in position to do more administrative work than patient care, and have NO ONE to talk to about how the staff is treated and how to make things better.
