Pros

Company is stable. Good 401K Good benefits

Cons

Quicken Loans demands that they come first before anything or anyone else in your life. Their culture is geared for a 12 year old. The hours are excessive and not worth the money you are paid. Quicken is difficult on any relationship you may have or want to have. Top performers at Quicken generally marry immigrants that are basically slaves in the relationship. You are continually reminded that if you do not drink the Kool Aid or follow their insane rules, "You will not have a job at Quicken Loans!" Criticism is constant. One of the "amazing" thinks at Quicken is their lack of professionalism. They make you comply with a theme day dress code. How professional do you think pajama day is? On April Fool's day, Dan Gilbert, sent out a company wide email at 4:45 PM saying that nobody would be able to get to their cars out of the parking garages due to a garage employee strike. If that this all sounds like a cool culture and great place to work, then Quicken is the place for you. No matter how great an employee you are, Quicken will find a way to demean you. Professionals with integrity, a life, and good personal relationship need not apply.

Pros

- Team members are fully engaged and committed - Ever-evolving market has trickle down effects on the work and scope (for me this is a pro, but not for everyone) - Highly transparent and frequent communication from leadership

Cons

- Heavy focus on in-person employee experiences - it can feel disconnected to be a hybrid / remote team member - Lots of lingo and vernacular specific to Rocket can feel disorienting - Goalpost changes a lot
